Rhea was frustrated. She finally had a chance to prove to everyone (and, mostly, to herself) that she could win her own battles. And yet, here she was, cornered by a random(ly strong) bandit. What could she do next?! He had healed every wound she had made, and now she didn't even have a sword as backup. She guessed she could use… no, she couldn't, way too dangerous.
Suddenly, it hit her. Maybe, just maybe, she didn't have to win. She only had to stop him.
When Unnus noticed she was distracted, he tried to slip away. He had a job to do, after all, and it wasn't her, sad as it was. He wasn't one for subtlety, so he just ran towards the mansion… and slammed headfirst into a tall hedge.
"I could swear that wasn't there a minute ago!" he thought. And for once, he was right. He looked around and saw a veritable maze of hedges, full of blooming flowers. And the smell, they smelled so good. They reminded him of a childhood he never had, or freshly harvested dreams. He absentmindedly walked in random directions, and soon, he didn't know where he was.
Outside the maze, Rhea was extremely tired. Generating so many plants at once really took a lot out of her, especially with the effect she added. She couldn't fight anymore, but hopefully what she did was just enough.
She should get out, maybe find her sister and tell her about the invasion. She had to… she had to.
Then her body hit the ground.
