Kaecilius was gone, vanishing into ashes in the midst of laughter.
Under Old Wong's admiring gaze, Su Ye walked to the bookshelf, picked up a book, and started reading.
With Su Ye's abilities, he could learn many skills even without a teacher—let alone with Wong, this "traitor," nearby to help.
It didn't take long for Su Ye to master all of Doctor Strange's magic techniques.
To say the least, when it came to magic, he was now more "Doctor Strange" than Doctor Strange himself.
Watching Su Ye max out his skills in a single day, Old Wong couldn't help but sigh.
"So this is Su-shen's descendant? Even learning magic is so fast!"
"Indeed, all roads lead to Rome, but some people are just born there!"
Despite his amazement, Old Wong didn't feel jealous. The more one understood Su Mutian, the less they could envy Su Ye—only revere him.
After fully mastering the magic system, Su Ye used his Sling Ring to open a portal. After greeting Old Wong, he stepped right through.
"Old Wong, I'm heading out. Let's chat later!"
As the portal closed, Su Ye had already appeared aboard a spaceship.
Upon seeing him, the crew on the spaceship immediately screamed.
"Enemy attack!"
"Prepare for battle!"
"Ravagers, grab your weapons and defeat the intruder!"
"I'm Groot!"
"Ahhh!"
Led by Star-Lord, Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot, and the big fool Drax the Destroyer, they all fired at Su Ye without hesitation.
Their guns blazed, bullets raining down on Su Ye like a storm.
Su Ye had anticipated this situation beforehand, so he had already formed two 'Rings of Raggadorr' on his hands.
This was one of Doctor Strange's favorite spells, serving both as a shield for defense and as a weapon for attack—both offensive and defensive.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
The bullets struck the Rings of Raggadorr, sending sparks flying in all directions.
Yet, behind the Rings of Raggadorr, Su Ye remained completely calm.
According to the 'Captain America Rule,' as long as you raise a shield, enemy bullets won't hit anywhere outside its protected area. You just need to stand there.
A moment later, their magazines emptied, forcing them to stop firing and reload. However, their gazes remained fixed on Su Ye, wary of his counterattack.
Seeing their attack cease, Su Ye exhaled softly, moved the Rings of Raggadorr aside, and prepared to greet them.
At that moment, Drax and Gamora charged at him simultaneously.
They were the close-combat fighters, responsible for attacking during the reloading window.
Facing their charge, the Rings of Raggadorr on Su Ye's hands vanished, transforming into magical whips.
Two fiery-red magical whips shot out, wrapping around their ankles. Then, like a pair of meteor hammers, he swung them in circles.
This spaceship, the Milano, had limited space. While close combat was manageable, the meteor hammer technique instantly made things chaotic.
With loud bangs, Drax and Gamora slammed against the interior walls of the ship repeatedly, their faces making intimate contact with the surfaces, leaving behind marks from the friction.
"Stop! Stop! Stop!"
If it were only Drax, that would be one thing. But when Gamora was swung around like a rag, Star-Lord couldn't stay calm anymore.
"Stop! Put them down! I said, stop!"
Saying this, he rushed forward, grabbing the magical whip, trying to use his body to stop Gamora.
Then, he became another hammerhead in the meteor hammer rotation, getting slammed around the ship's walls.
"I'm Groot!"
Groot roared and joined the spinning hammer lineup.
In the end, only Rocket remained, holding his reloaded gun but choosing not to fire, standing there with a depressed expression.
"Are you all idiots? I get attacking at first, but you still haven't recognized him?"
"Hey, Earth's Uncle Su, that's enough. We've fought together before, after all. This is getting too ugly."
After Rocket yelled, Su Ye smiled.
"You guys shot me with 2,345 bullets, so I'll make you spin 2,345 times. It'll be quick, don't worry."
"Each person spinning 2,345 times? They'll die!"
Rocket shouted in frustration.
Su Ye shook his head.
"Not at all. Since there were 2,345 bullets in total, you all just need to share the spins—around 400 per person. Not much."
"400+ spins?"
Rocket frowned. "If it's split between four people, wouldn't that be over 500 spins each? Do you Earthlings do math differently?"
Su Ye smiled again.
"Four people would split 500+ each, but there are five of you. You shot me the most—do you think just because you're an animal, you don't have to suffer with them?"
"I..."
Rocket's eyes widened in horror, and he tried to run, but the magical whip had already wrapped around him.
In an instant, the number of meteor hammers inside the ship increased from four to five.
"Aaaaahhh!"
Fortunately, the Milano had an autopilot function, allowing it to continue its course even without a pilot, so their spinning chaos didn't affect the journey.
But the Guardians of the Galaxy were completely out of luck.
By the time Su Ye let go and put them down, their faces and bodies were covered in blood, looking utterly miserable.
"Hey everyone, long time no see?"
Su Ye greeted them with a smile. The Guardians wanted to die but, seeing his friendly expression, they had no choice but to force a smile—one that looked worse than crying.
Su Ye glanced at the blood-covered group, then at the walls, which were nearly drenched in blood, and sighed helplessly.
"Not only are you guys bad at thinking, but you also have no sense of hygiene. Look at this ship! Someone who knows would call it a spaceship, but someone who doesn't might think it's a slaughterhouse!"
Star-Lord glanced at Su Ye and muttered under his breath.
"A slaughterhouse? You're the one who did this!"
Star-Lord had never truly yielded to anyone. Even if he had to, he wouldn't do so willingly. Just like now—faced with Su Ye's dominance and questioning, he couldn't resist talking back, even at the risk of getting beaten again.
Su Ye ignored Star-Lord's remark as if he hadn't heard it and continued speaking.
"Since I'm here, I can't stand staying in such a filthy place, so I'll clean up for you."
With that, he waved his arm, and a green glow enveloped the spaceship's interior.
A moment later, the green light faded, and what had looked like a slaughterhouse returned to its original clean and tidy state.
"Huh? I just fully revived on the spot?"
Star-Lord looked at his fully healed body, excitedly jumped up from the floor, and grinned at Su Ye. "Thanks, Uncle Su!"
He looked so thrilled, as if he wasn't the one who had just been smashed against the walls and almost turned into a bloodstain.
Star-Lord not only had extreme social confidence but also wasn't too bright, which made dealing with him pretty easy.
In comparison, the rest of the Guardians of the Galaxy were a bit harder to deal with.
Especially Gamora.
Back when the Guardians collaborated with the Great Wall Defenders Alliance, Gamora had heard stories about Su Ye from the female superheroes.
Stuff like how he understood women, wouldn't hit them easily, and was particularly kind to female superheroes—blah, blah, blah.
It was all positive things, which gave Gamora a good impression of Su Ye.
She had even considered that, if the opportunity arose, it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a connection with Su Ye.
After all, Su Ye was tall, handsome, and well-built—matching all of Gamora's ideals for a man.
But after experiencing the meteor hammer treatment, that fantasy was completely shattered.
She felt like crying. Fairy tales were all lies. This so-called "Uncle Su" wasn't some charming prince—he was a demon.
A terrifying demon who had no mercy for either men or women.
Comparing the two, Star-Lord seemed like a much better boyfriend option—at least he was easier to bully.
With this thought in mind, Gamora's gaze toward Star-Lord softened slightly.
Thanks to Star-Lord's joking around, the atmosphere quickly lightened.
In the end, it wasn't a big deal. They had shot at Su Ye, and in return, they got spun around like hammers. It was even now.
Since the injuries had already been healed by the Time Stone, there was nothing left to complain about.
"Where are you guys headed now?" Su Ye asked.
Star-Lord shrugged. "To Sovereign. We're mercenaries now—whoever pays us, we solve their problems."
"Recently, a multidimensional-traveling creature has been appearing on Sovereign, stealing their energy batteries. We need to find it and take it down!"
Su Ye nodded. He knew this storyline—this was the opening of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, where Star-Lord and his team took on a mission in Sovereign.
The scene of that monster's appearance, along with the way they fought together to take it down, wasn't just similar to a video game boss fight—it was exactly like one!
Even the monster's design and size were straight out of a dungeon boss template.
As he thought about this, Su Ye turned to look at Drax, who was glaring at him, pretending he hadn't just been mercilessly smashed around the ship.
"This big guy still refuses to wear clothes? You guys already have team uniforms!"
This was intentionally directed at Drax.
Sure enough, upon hearing this, Drax let out a deep growl.
"I don't like wearing that. My *** is sensitive, and it rubs against me uncomfortably."
"Pfft!"
Su Ye couldn't hold back his laughter, while Rocket was nearly rolling on the floor laughing.
"'My *** is sensitive, and it rubs me the wrong way'—hahaha! That's the funniest thing I've heard all year! Hahahaha!"
Drax shot a murderous glare at Rocket, but since Su Ye was standing nearby, he ultimately just stared at Rocket angrily without making a move.
"So, Uncle Su, what exactly are you here for this time? And also..."
Star-Lord waved his hands in the air. "That circle thing you made earlier—how did you do that? And why did you suddenly pop up on our ship like that?"
"Do you even realize? If we were in a boarding battle with an enemy, we wouldn't even need to fight. Just instantly appearing like that—bam! The enemy would be so scared they'd piss their pants!"
"Did you piss your pants just now?" Rocket mocked instinctively.
"Heh, I did, but I refuse to admit it!" Star-Lord said, twisting his waist dramatically.
From the moment this team was formed, they had never known harmony. Insulting each other, bickering, and even throwing punches at the slightest provocation had become their daily routine.
"If you ask me, this skill isn't best used for boarding battles—it's for breaking into vaults!"
Rocket suddenly got excited.
"With this skill, we could open a portal straight into someone's vault, take their treasures, and leave without anyone knowing!"
"The only question is—how far can this portal reach?"
After Rocket spoke, all the Guardians, including Gamora, looked at Su Ye with interest. They seemed very intrigued by the idea.
But Su Ye didn't answer directly. Instead, he asked a question.
"How far are we from Earth?"
Everyone glanced at the star map, and their faces instantly lit up with grins.
"Right now, we're tens of thousands of light-years away from Earth… so does that mean we could rob someone's vault from that far away?"
"Hiss!"
Upon hearing this, everyone took a sharp breath.
If they could truly rob a vault from tens of thousands of light-years away, that would be insane!
"Rocket, pull up some intel. Find a good vault. We'll hit it big, and after that, we can all retire!"
Star-Lord shouted excitedly.
Next to him, Su Ye was speechless.
"Aren't you guys getting a bit ahead of yourselves? Why are you immediately thinking about robbing a vault? Did I even agree to this?"
"Uh…"
Star-Lord paused for a moment before slapping Su Ye on the shoulder.
"Oh, come on, drop the act! You came all this way, and you're still pretending? Your intentions are obvious!"
"Oh, right, you're 'Uncle Su,' you're all righteous. This was totally our idea, nothing to do with you. You just happened to open a portal and—oops—ended up in the wrong place without realizing it!"
"And then we, these shameless, unscrupulous lowlifes, saw the portal, went in, and conveniently helped ourselves to some treasures."
"All the blame is on us, nothing to do with you, alright?"
Watching Star-Lord act like a Chinese sketch comedian, Su Ye couldn't help but want to hit him with the Reality Stone.
Have you ever seen a Song Xiaobao version of Star-Lord?
