The scholars stared dumbfounded as the mysterious redcoat disappeared within the depths of the verdant forest, illuminated by the shimmering light from the sun and sky. The scent and humid morning dew, which had now overpowered the smell of acrid smoke that had long disappeared, brought an intense clarity and understanding within him. Yet despite all of that, deep within, suspicion, doubts, and numerous questions intensified without ever being given an answer.
Ultimately, it was his fellow myriads who broke him out of his trance; they all had a look of questioning directed at him. Thus, without giving a second thought, he reached for his pocket and showed them.
The myriads collectively gasped, with some falling to their knees; almost all of them knew "The Order of the Shorekeeper" and the tales that they spread. Yet they only believed it was nothing but wishful thinking—now something within them changed. A glimmer of hope, and moreover, excitement.
