Shin and Lilia returned to the mill almost three days later, loaded with meat and bones for soup. Although eating only meat for days was tiring and probably not healthy, it was far healthier than not eating anything at all.
Lilia sat beside the fire and started grilling some of the meat while Shin climbed up the mill and took a look at the castle. Almost a week had passed since the acid goo flooded the castle.
As Shin expected, the goo had all disappeared without a trace. They should be able to explore the castle now.
"Arachne, can you sense your soul sharp? All I can tell is that it's in the castle." Shin asked with an even voice as he looked down at the crumbling walls of the castle.
Arachne crawled out of his hair and looked at the castle. "It's beneath it, probably in the dungeons. We should be able to reach it. I only hope that we don't have to dig down to reach it."
Char immediately added, "Yeah, last time it was in a cavern deep underground."
