Julie turned to Marina with that warm, familiar smile she reserved for family. "Marina, darling—how's your grandma doing these days?"
Marina returned the smile, soft and genuine. "She's fine, healthy as ever. Right now she's fast asleep. I'll introduce you properly in the morning, Sister Julie. She'll be thrilled to see you."
She glanced over at the twins standing quietly nearby. "Eva, Ema—please show Sister Julie and Yuko to the guest room."
Then, with a small apologetic tilt of her head toward Julie: "I'm sorry, Sister Julie… our house doesn't have many spare rooms. You'll have to share tonight."
Julie waved it off immediately, laughing lightly. "No, no—it's perfectly fine. We came completely unannounced and barged in on you like this. We're the ones who should apologize."
