George was a tough man who feared nothing, but he nearly passed out when the soul jade came to life.
He briefly wondered if there was anything scientific behind it. The more he thought about it, though, the more ridiculous it seemed.
When he recalled Blake's odd behavior with the soul jade, he figured that it might be something unexplainable by science.
He quickly turned to Yvette to ask her about the soul jade's origin.
"It belonged to my Aunt Charlotte, but she gave it to Leah," Yvette replied, who was still shaken by what she witnessed.
George wanted to visit Charlotte right away but decided against it because Blake needed him.
As a compromise, he asked, "Is your aunt free to visit us? I want to ask her about the jade."
Yvette quickly nodded and replied, "I'll tell the chauffeur to give her a call." Charlotte was at Yolanda's grave when she received Yvette's call.
Only a few minutes earlier, she was rambling to Yolanda's gravestone about the children.
