"No, you are even better now." Samantha teared up. "Christopher, you were too handsome. You belonged to Jordyn. I would be ruining your relationship with Jordyn if I was with you. I can't damage your marriage. But now that you've become like this, Jordyn and other women will abandon you. I can be with you without carrying the title of a disgraceful mistress."
Upon hearing these words, Christopher hugged Samantha.
Tears flowed down Samantha's face silently. "Christopher, let me accompany you for the rest of your life."
Although Samantha did not know how Christopher ended up this way, she clearly knew that senescence is an omen of death. Christopher probably had not much time left.
Christopher could not believe it.
His voice was trembling as he asked, "Samantha, are you not disgusted or afraid of this appearance of mine?"
Samantha raised her head.
Though her face was covered in tears, there was a sparkle in her eyes.
She said, "Christopher, I'm not disgusted, nor am I afraid."
