Ficool

Chapter 14 - Remaining draft

Some time later exactly three days after the group gathered again.

They were deep in discussion, voices overlapping as they debated what to do now that the passage between the Underworld and the Overworld had been forced open.

"Let's just go over to Cocolia," Stelle said, planting her hands firmly on her hips her chin up proud looking, "and beat her until her head isn't stuffed full of Stellarons. Then she'll tell us where the Stellaron is."

Her words dropped like a hammer. The room fell silent. Everyone stared at her in disbelief.

Bronya shook her head slowly, a pained look crossing her face. "We can't do that. It would only plunge Belobog into even greater chaos than it's already in."

Dan Heng's calm voice cut in, reinforcing her words. "Bronya is right. Resorting to violence now will only bring more trouble than we can handle."

A few of the group nodded thoughtfully at least, those who understood the situation. March, Stelle, and even Seele, however, exchanged confused glances, clearly not following the full scope of the problem.

Bronya took a deep breath, then straightened. "I think it would be best if I go and try to speak with her directly. She will listen to me… at least more than anyone else." Her eyes flicked around the circle, meeting each of theirs.

"This could work," Dan Heng said after a moment of thought. His tone was calm, but his eyes were sharp as he analyzed the situation. "However, in case Cocolia refuses to listen, we should prepare alternative methods. And if those fail…" He hesitated briefly, glancing at Stelle, "…then we may have no choice but to consider Stelle's approach."

In his mind, Stelle's method was the most direct and efficient. On other planets, such a straightforward solution might have been the quickest path to success. But here, in Belobog, things were different. This civilization was already teetering on the edge of collapse. One reckless move could be the spark that pushed it past the point of no return.

After finishing the plan and prepared everything they went to the upperworld though the passage.
