Obsidian Fieldlands, Oreburrow Tunnel.
John brought the trembling Mai to stand at the tunnel entrance.
Although the Hisui region's technology was equivalent to "modern" times, they still didn't have trains, vehicles that needed to pass through tunnels.
"No need for such trouble." John casually snapped his fingers.
Gardevoir immediately appeared behind him, hands clasped before her chest. Her psychic power instantly began spreading, rapidly extending toward the depths of the cave.
Finding things had never been John's concern until now.
Especially when the opponent's combat power was definitely inferior to Gardevoir's.
In less than thirty seconds, Gardevoir informed John that she had locked onto the target, and moreover had established a three-dimensional model for John's inspection.
John examined the 3D model, it was indeed in the depths of the mine.
"Teleport it up here." John ordered. Of course, it wasn't good to go down, so just have it come up.
"Garde~" Gardevoir sang softly, releasing her clasped hands, then quickly clapping them together.
Pop!
The next instant, the Noble Aggron had crossed several hundred meters to appear at the Oreburrow Tunnel entrance.
[Noble Aggron LV95]
Not mentioning anything else, just the feeling of oppression alone was intense. Even though it was currently sleeping.
Mai on the side looked over in bewildered shock. She still didn't understand what had just happened.
How did Gardevoir simply clap once, and the Noble Aggron suddenly appeared before them?
"Pull back to the distance. We need to clear out a battlefield." John said to Gardevoir, and also to Ami.
Boom!
The gleaming golden massive beast landed on the ground.
ROAR!!!
Mega Aggron raised its face to the sky and roared, its aura imposing!
Suddenly, the Noble Aggron turned its gaze toward this gleaming golden member of its species not far away.
ROAR!!
The Noble Aggron roared back.
How dare you roar at a king? Looks like you're tired of living!
Wild Aggrons would regard a mountain as their territory. They absolutely wouldn't spare any outsider who casually entered, they would beat them mercilessly. If the intruder was of the same species, it usually resulted in a bloody battle!
One second later, the Noble Aggron immediately launched an attack.
Its short, thick legs stomped the ground. It bent down, one front leg scraping the earth, charging forward!
Heavy Slam!
It was hard to imagine Aggron using all four limbs to move.
John reached into his bag and pulled out a Rockium Z.
After a night of energy replenishment, the Rockium Z could be used again.
Placing it on his Z-Power Ring, John pointed his hand toward the Noble Aggron.
"Aggron, Z-Move, Continental Crush!"
"AGGROOOON!!!" Mega Aggron's body was enveloped in golden-earth radiance. It also spread its arms wide and roared loudly.
Dealing with an ordinary Noble Aggron didn't require John to use his full power.
But even Mega Aggron's casual summoning of rock was enough to make Mai's eyes widen, shocked speechless.
Mai had lost count of how many times she'd been shocked. Anyway, she'd been shocked from the moment they left Jubilee Village until now.
If it weren't for her posistion within the Diamond Clan, Mai would think she was some country bumpkin who'd never seen the world.
"It's not that I'm ignorant, it's that he's already exceeded everyone's basic understanding!" Mai roared silently in her heart.
The charging Noble Aggron noticed the anomaly in the sky and hastily braked, raising its head to look. It discovered a massive rock several times larger than its own body.
"AGGRON!"
The Noble Aggron opened its mouth and fired a Hyper Beam!
The terrifying light beam carried an irresistible pressure. The Noble Aggron was almost pressed down, unable to raise its head.
In John's view, the battle was already over.
Even if you had Rock-type attributes and superior defense.
Under dozens of tons of rock falling from the air, this had little to do with Rock-type attributes anymore, it was pure power crushing.
Just like how a sufficiently strong electric shock could cause damage to Ground-type Pokemon. What hurt the Pokemon wasn't the electricity itself, but the impact!
BOOM!!!
The earth trembled. Violent shockwaves spread, directly covering the Noble Aggron's form.
"Continental Crush really never gets old no matter how many times you watch it." John sighed. He just loved this kind of absolute power the move did.
At the same time, through the system notification, just as he predicted, the Noble Aggron was KO'd in one strike.
The dust cleared.
Where the Noble Aggron had stood was now a massive crater.
And in the center of the crater, the Noble Aggron lay motionless, its eyes showing spirals.
Completely defeated.
"Is... is it over?" Mai asked tremulously.
"Of course." John walked forward calmly.
He came before the Noble Aggron.
On its head was a crown made of ore and gems.
This was the symbol of nobility, the King's Crown.
John reached out and took the crown.
[Aggron's Crown] (Legendary Item)]
[Effect: When worn by Aggron, all stats increase by 50%, Rock-type and Steel-type move power increases by 100%. Grants the title "King"]
Perfect.
With this crown, Aggron could officially become a Noble Pokemon.
And more importantly, he now had all the materials needed to craft Aggron's divine treasure.
Primal Rock, Primal Steel, two Rusted Shields, and the Noble Aggron's Crown.
With these legendary materials, the divine treasure he'd create for Aggron would definitely be extraordinary.
John recalled Mega Aggron.
He looked at the fallen Aggron.
"Rest well. Your duty is complete."
He turned to leave.
Mai hurried to keep up.
"That... that person..." She couldn't find the words.
Too strong.
Ridiculously strong.
The Noble Aggron that their Diamond Clan had spent so much effort to seal and watch over was defeated in one move?
What kind of monster was this?!
"Now you understand," a voice suddenly said.
Mai turned around to see Adaman standing there.
"Captain! When did you..."
"I've been here the whole time." Adaman looked toward where John had left. "I wanted to see with my own eyes just how strong he really is."
"And now?"
"Now I know." Adaman smiled bitterly. "We're not even on the same level."
He paused, then continued, "But that's fine. At least the Noble Aggron has been calmed. That's good for everyone."
Mai nodded slowly, still processing everything she'd witnessed.
The world was much larger than she'd imagined.
And John was a monster far beyond their understanding.
