John took out all the materials needed to craft Tyranitar's divine treasure from the Gameboy, one by one.
The material for crafting Regirock, Primal Rock.
Five ordinary legendary-level Pokemon items, Life Orb X5.
Tyranitar's top-tier exclusive item, Tyranitar Fang (★★★).
"Regigigas gave it to me," John feared Xerneas didn't know, and added, "That's the one, the continental dragger."
Xerneas looked at John with complex eyes.
"Primal Energy is what we ancient beings use to replenish our own power. For ordinary Pokemon, it's far too much, they can't easily withstand it. Later, you can dilute it and mix it into your companions' food. It can gradually make them stronger."
"Using it to craft a divine treasure would actually be a waste."
"Okay, okay, okay." John hurriedly stuffed the Primal Pearls away. He'd completely forgotten to ask what use these Regirock items had, never thinking they were actually something that could turn ordinary Pokemon into divine beasts.
In the future, he'd dilute the Primal Pearls meal by meal and mix them into his main Pokemon's food and water.
"So many items will be troublesome!" John pushed these items before Xerneas.
Xerneas' body once again erupted with brilliant light. The azure-green fairy aura enveloped all the materials John provided, beginning to infuse them.
About ten minutes passed.
The light dissipated, and a brand new divine treasure appeared before John.
However, the treasure's appearance... wasn't it a bit too large?
A massive black throne covered in fangs!
John had no desire to research how Tyranitar would carry its king's throne. What he cared about most was the treasure's effects.
[Tyrant's Throne: When carried, maximum HP increased by 100%, recovers 3% HP per second, Dark-type and Rock-type move power increased by 200%. The Sandstorm trait automatically converts to "Death Sandstorm." Enemies who enter the Death Sandstorm will have their life force rapidly drained, replenishing the item bearer themselves. (Only the Tyranitar-line can use this)]
"Tsk~~"
John stood frozen in place.
A maximum 300% move power increase. 100% HP increase. 3% terrifying recovery rate.
Especially that Death Sandstorm that could drain opponents' life force.
Once the Death Sandstorm opened, John felt that even if it was just Tyranitar alone, it could single-handedly push through legendary Pokemon.
Not those third-tier gods like Zapdos.
But genuine legendary Pokemon!
"Thank you." John expressed his heartfelt gratitude.
'No need to thank me. This is what you deserve.' Xerneas shook its head slightly.
As it said these words, Xerneas' legs had already planted into the ground, its body beginning to transform toward a tree-like state.
"You're going to?" John looked at Xerneas questioningly.
Its duty was to watch over Yveltal, maintaining the balance between death and life in this world.
"If possible, I hope you can help take care of this group of mine. Perhaps, in the not-too-distant future, we can meet again." Although Xerneas said this, it felt that even when it awakened next time, John would likely have already passed away.
This time with John's help, it was easy to make Yveltal fall into a sleeping state, but the next time when it awakened, John wouldn't be there.
So, Xerneas hoped John could help train these members of its a bit. At least when it returned next time, these members could be stronger and lend a hand.
Without waiting for John's response, Xerneas had completely transformed into a massive tree that covered the sky. A faint azure-green glow emanated from the withered tree.
Before long, this land, first stripped of life force by Yveltal's death energy, then turned into barren earth by Aggron, Tyranitar, and Gardevoir's combined Continental Crush, would once again become lush green, full of vigorous forest.
John looked at the former Gardevoir Queen, Wigglytuff, and Togekiss.
"Don't worry, I'll take good care of you all."
The three Pokemon looked at each other, then nodded in unison.
John released all his Pokemon.
"Everyone, let me introduce three new companions!"
Gardevoir walked over first, looking at the former Gardevoir Queen with complex emotions.
The two Gardevoirs stared at each other for a long moment.
Finally, the former queen lowered its head slightly, acknowledging Gardevoir's current strength.
"Good, good. Everyone getting along is what matters most." John smiled with satisfaction.
He opened the Gameboy interface, preparing to check Tyranitar's updated stats after equipping it's new held item.
[Tyranitar (Rock/Dark-Type)] (Totem) (King) (Regigigas Kin)]
[Level: 90]
[Ability: Sand Stream (When this Pokemon appears, a sandstorm automatically forms.)
-Blessing of Regigigas (Strength increased by 300%, power of Normal moves increased by 150%, when standing on the ground, recovers 5% HP per second, and the Truant ability changes)]
[IV's: HP (31), Attack (31), Special Attack (31), Defense (31), Special Defense (31), Speed (31)]
[Moves: Bite, Leer, Rock Throw, Payback, Stomping Tantrum, Scary Face, Rock Slide, Crunch, Earthquake, Stone Edge, Hyper Beam, Swords Dance]
[Carrying Items: Tyrant's Throne]
Perfect.
With this new held item, Tyranitar's combat power had at least tripled!
"Alright, let's head back." John recalled most of his Pokemon, leaving only Lugia outside.
He still had training to complete on Floating Island.
And in the ancient Hisui region, the plot was about to reach its climax.
He needed to prepare well.
