CASSIEL'S POV:
I couldn't believe I was practically falling in love all over again. I can see pieces of my Seraphiel, in Seri, but she's so different in this life. So fierce and spicy, the most fearless woman I've ever met.
And she's mine.
Heading inside, I see Seri sitting with her parents.
She looked so calm and at ease. Not like someone who just found out they they've died in hundreds of lives because of cursed love.
She looked like a young woman without a care in the world. And it was a beautiful sight. Her smile.
"Sorry about that, I had work calls to make." I wasn't completely lying.
Joseph, her father got up from the chair and approached me. Courage evident on his face, and a flicker of fear as well.
"I'm Joseph It's nice to finally meet the man that kidnapped, I mean saved, my daughter." He extended his hand.
The gull of this man to approach me like that. I could feel the frown forming on my face.
