Cambridge international high, a school that accepts all resumes, whether you're an ex-convict, drug dealer, son of a bitch or whatever as long as you are not a psychopath and you can afford the fees. It is a boarding school that serves according to your donation to the school, you are literally classified based on wealth, popularity and influence. Here bullying is normal, either you're the bully or you're being bullied. Girls fight for the he Regina of the school (reigning queen) but many fall back defeated. This period, the Regina is Ellie Darlene, the daughter of one of the board members of the school, she was demanding, arrogant, rude, and wicked but nothing near to being brutal. Some say that she is naive and it isn't a lie. She didn't deserve the title of Regina, it was given to her through pity. Her and her members Doreen and Pamela bullied the weak like never before, crossing their limits with the poor numerous times.
Cambridge also has another bullying system apart from the Regina and her group. They had the RM (rich men). This bullying system was worse than the Regina but they hardly operate. They consist of young heartless handsome rich boys. They were Francis Travis, a 17 years old boy with so many bad records, he was the most brutal among all of them and yet quiet and rudest. His charming grin, high curly afro hair, pink lips, straight nose, 6 ear piercings, smooth and spotless face, lotus flower tattoo at his waistline, slim stomach, Adam Apple and stainless body figure kept girls screaming for eternity. The second was Melvin James commonly known as MJ, a famous playboy in the area. Thirdly, Errol Zachary addressed as Zach for short. Fourthly, they had Frank Felix, the cousin of Travis and a replica of him. And lastly Abel crescent.
I won't lie but he school is good with accommodations and teaching, they also offer scholarships but if you are bullied because it's none of the school business.
"Must I go?" A sixteen years old girl asked her single mother who was busy in the kitchen preparing breakfast
"Kindra, how many times do you want me to repeat myself?" The mother asked in a clam voice
"But I don't like the school, is it because Doreen is there?" She asked still resistant to go
"You already know the answer, so why ask? I hope you have already packed your things, your flight is by 10am, so better be ready" The mother informed
"Okay" kindra said defeated as she sat down on one of the chairs in the dining room ready for her breakfast of pancake and honey syrup
Liam kindra, a sixteen years old girl, daughter of divorced Mrs. Natasha, just came back from visiting her father in California just to hear the news of her admission into Cambridge. The Cambridge everyone is gearing to go to, the school with the highest bullying rate in the whole continent.
She walked a little after coming down from the plane, she walked until she saw a driver holding a sign board of her name boldly written on it. She immediately knew it was the driver form Cambridge that was there to pick her up. She walked up to him and greeted him but it seems that he wasn't in a good mood, but rather took her luggage form her and put in the truck of the vehicle and entered the driver's seat of the car not even informing her to get in. Kindra decided not to take it to heart but just enter without any complains. The journey to the school went smooth as no one talked but rather listened to the sweet melodies of the radio and enjoying the beautiful view of Los Angeles. The driver packed in the parking lot of the school, came down and brought out her luggage not caring to inform her that they had arrived or something like that. Kindra on the other hand noticed his arrogant attitude but what the man didn't know was that he was dealing with the queen of attitude. So she rudely carried her luggage, hissed and entered a building facing them with a sign board on top written 'ADMIN'.
"Good evening ma. Ma, I'm new here, can I get some assistance on where to go first?" In a polite manner she asked the idle receptionist. The receptionist diverted her gaze from her phone to kindra who was standing looking all angelic.
"Your name?"
"Liam kindra" the receptionist opened a book on her desk and began to scroll through the names in it until she came to a stop and nodded her head then opening her drawer to bring out a room key
"Liam, you're in room 316 on third floor" she handed the key over to kindra who thanked her "after you are done settling down, before diner, make sure to return so you can meet with the principal" once again Linda thanked the woman and left the building.
"Excuse me, can you please direct me to where the female hostel is?" She stopped a passerby. The passerby directed her and left. On entering the hostel she saw a middle age woman sitting on a bench blocking the exit of the female students. The students were pleading with the woman to release them but all fell on deaf ears. Kindest walked over to her and greeted her then explained her situation of a new student
"Your name?"
"Liam Kindra"
"If I slap you rose" the woman shouted at a girl that was intending to jump over the bench and escape "Anita, go to my desk and get me the register book" the woman ordered
"Okay ma" the so-called Anita jumped the bench and walked over to the woman's desk and brought for her the register book
"Go back and Join them" the woman said heartlessly as the crowd began to shout and laugh as the thought that after running the errand for the woman she would release her but that was all imaginations. The woman searched through the book until she found kindra name "I'm your house mistress, Mrs. Juliet. I'd you have any problem concerning the hostel you can always come and meet me. You may now go to your room. GIRLS CLEAR THE WAY!!!" Like they were controlled, they all cleared the way for her to pass to her room. Kindra was expecting a dirty and unkept room but what she saw was clearly the opposite of her thoughts. They had cleaned the room as if the Messiah was coming down to stay, she quickly cleared her thoughts and unpacked her things once she remembered what the receptionist told her earlier. After she was done, she down stairs to see that the crowd had cleared and the stairs was now empty, she rushed down to the 'ADMIN' building to meet the same receptionist.
"You're back" the receptionist greeted on sighting her from the entry
"Yes ma, ready to meet the principal"
"Oh well, the principal's office is on the first floor by the left. The first door you see" she climbed the stairs and as instructed got to the principal office door where she knocked
"Come in" a man from behind the door permitted her entry. She got in and was offered a seat facing the principal with a desk piled up with paper works. On the walls of the office were portraits of his children who had passed through the school and the ones currently still schooling. In any usual principal office, it was meant to be the portraits of the best brain or award winning students displayed in his office but rather it's not the same here in Cambridge.
"Good evening sir"
"How may I help you?" He asked as he closed the book his eyes were previously fixed on
"Sir, I'm a new comer in grade 12"
"Name?"
"Liam kindra" he stood up and walked to one of the shelves and brought out a booklet after minutes of searching and came back to his seat. He opened the booklet
"Liam kindra from Australia, sixteen years old, class amber, room 316. Here is your timetable and I'll send you the school map through email"
"Okay sir, thank you sir" she accepted the timetable from his hand and asked "may I now take my leave sir?"
"Sure no problem but don't forget to go for diner" she left his office back to her hostel to get prepared for diner. Unfortunately, kindra hadn't made any friends and was lonely and all she could do was to sit down on her bed and go through the timetable given to her. She still had like 30 more minutes before diner and was seriously jobless and idle. She then decided that this loneliness had to stop, she left her to wander around to check who she could interact with. She sat on a bench in the hostel compound and her plan had failed as everyone was busy doing one thing or the other
"Hey there are you new?" an average height girl with a terrible scar on her left face walked up to her and asked friendly
"Uh"
"Well then, my name is Hannah and what's yours?" she said as she offered herself a seat beside kindra
"Kindra"
"It's like you just arrived today"
"Yeah, how do you know?"
"Cause you're so lonely and hadn't made friends yet"
"Oh?"
"Don't worry I was once in your situation when I came newly. The school system was so complicated that I couldn't think straight, but after a few weeks I got adjusted to it"
"Uh-huh?"
"I hope you haven't had any troubles lately?"
"Nope"
"Your luck, usually a group of bullies would have come by now to harass you or maybe by your beauty ask you to join their group and if you don't accept they would bully you till their heart content"
"Did they ask you to join their group?"
"Nope, they came to bully me because of my scar on my face. But you clearly resemble one of the Regina's"
"Regina?"
"Yeah but I hate the girl with passion like who doesn't hate her"
"Wow'
"I'm in class diamond from California"
"I'm in class amber from Australia"
"Class amber? You're seriously going to suffer there"
"How?'
"Class amber and class beryl are for the rich and highly sophisticated people more like bullies. Just mind your business and whatever they tell you to do just do it without hesitating"
"HANNAH!!! HANNAH!!! Come here my friend" a commanding voice ordered and the girl who she was talking to quickly rushed to answer the person calling. As much as I bugged kindra to go and treat the girl's fuck up, as much did she remember that's she had to kind her business.
She was able to locate the dining hall through the help of the map the principal had sent to her. She was now holding her tray of food in her hand and was looking for a vacant seat when Hannah waved her hand and pointed at an empty seat next to her. Kindra smiled and walked over to her and sat down beside Hannah who was in the midst of other girls
"Girls, let me introduce this beautiful damsel beside me. This is kindra in class amber a new intern. Kindra this are my friends, Judith and rose" Hannah introduced
"Nice to meet you kindra" Judith and rose said in unison
"Same here"
'Click clock' footsteps more like heels cleared the way and reduced the noise in the ever noisy dining as the Regina with her two best friends made their entrance with three nerds carrying their trays of food behind them. The Regina Darlene was in her white lace short gown almost revealing everything she wore inside and on her right was Doreen forever looking stunning in her double braided hair and bra hand top and black bum shorts with her anklet on her anklet, she was dashing as before, then to the left of Darlene was Michelle in her blue crop top and low waist palazzo trouser and her loose curly hair, they got seated at the center table of the dining seeking everyone's attention, but clearly not kindra attention as her focus was on the novel she was reading on her phone 'heavens official blessing'.
Another silence came but this time it was worse than the Regina's entry, moving of chairs, clicking of spoons even breathes were all seized as the hall went completely silent at the RM's entry. Neither of them held a tray, it was like they just came to dining for coming-sake. It was only Travis who held a bottle of chilled yoghurt and his phone on the other hand. Kindra suddenly read a part in the novel and began to laugh hysterically ready to throw her phone away in the name of laughing, it had to take rose to tap her for her to know that she was the only person making noise in the entire dining hall. Kindra searched through the crowd just for her eyes to lock with a pair of charming sapphire eyes, she couldn't tell who it was but his sight was so warm her eyes were about to melt then worse was his charming and amazing smile he displayed, she couldn't take it anymore, and she had to divert her eyes somewhere else. She searched again for her eyes to get locked a pair of familiar deep blue eyes, on recognizing themselves, they exchanged soft smiles and kindra continued her novel like nothing had happened even though she knew all eyes were on her at that moment.
Before food was finally open, another incident kept the crowd in silence as the Regina Darlene walked up to kindra with Michelle following behind
"You are new right?" Darlene asked
"Yes" kindra replied unconcerned on who was asking her the question
"Look up at me when I'm talking to you" Darlene with anger spoke. Slowly, kindra looked at Darlene than rolled her eyes, then back to her novel "I can see you are a trouble maker but let me tell you here in Cambridge ill make sure I treat your mentality" Darlene said then huffed before finally walking to the exit where Doreen was already standing watching the play but this time unlike before she was worried. This left the entire hall in whispers on what Darlene was going to do to kindra
"This new intern really has mind to challenge Darlene" Zach said to his fellow RM
"It's such a pity this girl is going to die soon" crescent commented as she stared at kindra
"Not until Doreen joins them, but if it's only Michelle and Darlene they won't be able to cause the girl much harm" Travis stated meaning that Darlene and Michelle are both weak to be even called Regina
"That's true" they all agreed
"I think it's high time we take our leave" MJ said and they all stood up and walked out without looking anyone's face
