"Neko's heart and left lung got pierced," Tenzo said as he turned to look at what Ryuu's clones were doing with the priest, while Phoenix looked silently at the backs of Ryuu and his clones.
"What is he doing?" Tenzo asked as he saw Ryuu's clones seal the body of the priest and his head separately before starting to write seals and Kanji on the walls, corners, and support pillars, making Phoenix and Inu look at him, then at the clones.
"Ah, Buntaicho is sealing them to deal with them later; he couldn't permanently deal with them with current time restraints and equipment, as for the seals…." Phoenix said before her voice got tight at the end.
"Buntaicho is going to blow up this place as soon as we step out. You don't want this place to be found again." Phoenix said in a heavy tone
"What did you find in the other path?" Inu asked. Hearing the question, Phoenix got quiet for a moment before sighing.
"We found an altar room, A kill room, a sacrificial chamber," Phoenix said with a heavy tone
"They used ch...…"

The conversion was cut short by the unmistakable sound of Lightning release, making Phoenix, along with Inu and Tenzo, tense up before looking at the source, only to see what they assume is the real Ryuu with his hand free from his gloves and his palms facing each other with lightning arches jumping between them.
A few moments earlier:
Ryuu just finished healing the final wounds that he had closed up with sutures. He looked at one of his clones that was using a manual ventilator to make Neko breathe while another clone had its hand buried in the side of Neko's chest, manually pumping her now healed heart.
The whole operation was a very difficult one and needed to be done as fast as possible.
It started when one of the clones fed the tube of the manual ventilator into the passageway of Neko's right lung while Ryuu cut into Neko's side using a chakra scalpel before reaching inside and healing her heart directly.
And with Neko's brain put into deep sleep, her heart was still, even after it was healed; a clone had to make Neko breathe through the ventilator. While another clone took Ryuu's place and held Neko's heart and started pumping it manually to free Ryuu so that she could heal Neko's left lung, which was pierced and had long since collapsed, filling its cavity with blood and fluids.
While Ryuu had put Neko's brain into deep sleep to give him time, as the brain is the first to die from a lack of air, Ryuu and his clones had to at least keep some form of respiratory and circulatory function so that Neko's other organs wouldn't die or suffer irreversible damage as Ryuu and his clones work on her body.
Ryuu then took time to heal Neko's left lung before draining the blood and fluids that filled it and its cavity. With that done, the clone responsible for the ventilator pulled the tube out from the airway of the right lung and stopped it right in the middle of the main airway so that air could enter the two lungs.
With the critical organs healed, Ryuu heals the entry wound in Neko's chest, along with the incision that he made to reach her left lung, before healing the exit wound in her back, leaving the incision in Neko's side that his clone was using to manually pump her heart.
With that done, one of Ryuu's clones removed the seal on Neko's head that was putting her brain to deep sleep. But that didn't mean that Neko would wake up anytime soon; her brain would need days or even weeks to return to normal. What Ryuu was aiming for was for her brain stem to wake up, as it is the part that controls breathing and heartbeat, and luckily, that would take a couple of minutes to wake up, as it is the first part of the brain that wakes up after the seal is lifted.
Now comes the part that Ryuu isn't fully sure about, restarting Neko's heart. It is a well-known fact in the ninja world that if the heart is pierced or stopped, then that means certain death with no way to restart the heart. But a few years ago, while studying human anatomy under his mother's tutelage, he came across what lightning jutsu does to the body, from lightning burns, fried nerves, complications to the nervous system, and uncontrollable muscle jerks and spasms.
The heart, being a muscle, is also affected by lightning, especially the higher the rank of the jutsu it is affected by. Lightning jutsu starting from C-rank is dangerous, and anything higher than that becomes lethal, especially if directly contacted. It would probably lead to the heart stopping from the influx of lightning chakra entering the body.
From that, Ryuu had thought of something simple yet very complicated. Since the Lighting chakra can stop the heart, can it be controlled to restart it?
Anyone who knows about lightning chakra would dismiss such an idea as absurd, even impossible.
Lightning release is the most volatile and hardest to control of the five main elemental releases. Its lethality and destructive powers made no one think of it as a way to restart a heart.
Even Tsunade was very skeptical when she heard the idea. But after deep study and experimentation, she started to believe that her son was onto something revolutionary in the field of medicine.
As they studied the heart deeply, they found out that the heart is being controlled by the brain using very minute electrical signals that travel through the nervous system and into the heart to make it contract and relax.
So, the idea was to use lightning chakra in a very controlled way to jump-start the heart again after it had stopped.
Looking at Neko, who was being kept barely alive by a clone manually pumping air in and out of her lungs while another pumped her heart manually from inside her chest, Ryuu took in a slightly shaky and heavy breath.
He had nothing but to try it on Neko; if it worked, it would be a blessing for them and for the medical field. But if it didn't work, Ryuu would have done all he could, but at the same time would be devastated to have lost one of his close friends at his own hands.
Ryuu took a deep breath and steadied his slightly shaking hands before taking off the bloodied surgical gloves from his hands, setting them aside before starting to weave a few hand signs.
'Please, let this work.' Ryuu prayed silently as he finished the set of hand seals before putting his hands into a praying gesture, making his palms face each other
