"Setting everything else aside, his self-healing ability alone is much stronger than Superman's," Shin frowned, sensing some trouble.
In the original story, the Sentry was once thrown into the core of the sun, where he was continuously incinerated into ashes while constantly regenerating. This vitality was far stronger than Superman, who would die if his heart was pierced, or General Zod, who would be finished if his neck was snapped.
