Duan Li was right behind BoHai and he was emanating a strong killing intent that made my hair rise on my hands and my body recognised the danger. Right at that moment I felt like that time I kissed a boy and got caught but now I did nothing... really...
Arlen muscles tensed because of the killing intent and Markus remained next to me but I could feel how this situation looked like ....these guys were ready to attack and I have the feeling I need to be the person to make peace negotiations. As I thought that I clear my throat and attract the attention of Duan Li and BoHai in me.
"Hello "
Duan Li comes through the door and I can see the veins bulge in his neck...
"Master Duan Li ....what can I do for you ? Can I offer you a cup of tea?"
"It would be a nice encounter but I find that these foreigners have become bold in theirs endeavour in the village."
" It is just misunderstanding since they don't speak our language and its been only have two days since their arrival."

As I said this BoHai comes closer ,sit next to me and practically pushes Arlen a little bit off and he takes my hand.
" Are you ok? Did they scare you ? I'm sorry, I shouldn't have left you alone to be assaulted like this. I can't believe how can some thugs can operate in open like this ."
As he said the part with the thugs he definitely looked at Duan Li like telling him....look ...you didn't do your job properly and my precious son almost got stolen.
" It's ok BoHai, i was just talking with my saviours about trading ".
As I said this make a signal to the waiter for more tea and I invite BoHai and Duan Li to sit next to us .
"As I was saying ,I was talking about trading and I am the only one that speaks English. Let me introduce you the this guys that helped me today. This person here is Elian and his brother Arlen and next to me is Markus. They came here via the sea in hopes of trading materials with our dynasty."
I make the introduction in Chinese and I translate what I just said to Arlen ,Elian and Markus .
Duan Li looks like a big muscled CEO right now listening to how i introduce them and how I speak another language.Luckly they both don't ask me more details of it or I would be in trouble.
" If they wanted to trade why didn't they came with the Arabian caravan. We never had anyone coming via the sea."
As I heard this I translate this to them.
Right now I became the principal negotiator and translator for this guys.
" Please tell him that we haven't take that route because our ship can travel faster than the caravan".
I look amazed at Arlen and I ask him ....
" Are the ships that fast or it's built like the modern times."
" Ours is faster because we made some improvements that helps us to travel on the ocean half the time others manage ."
" Half? Are there ships that fast these days?"
" No. It's our modifications that make us travel fast and some knowledge of routes not yet discovered ."
"AHH,that's cool". I turn back to Duan Li and Bohai and I tell them exactly what Arlen said.
Bohai and Duan Li stay silent thinking about what I said and the exchange looks between them is like they don't need communication...do they talk telepathic? I look closer at them fascinated how they look like they came to an agreement and Duan Li answered.
" If they want to trade with us we can accept it but In exchange we want a magic sealed contract that will make sure that they keep their word ."
"A magic sealed contract? What's that ? " I am amazed and my eyes are big as a plate....did Duan Li said magic?
"Ahhemmm ... That's the norm of trading especially in the capital and it's a leverage for us because who break their contract they will have their soul devoured and we need to make an agreement that you should get a percentage of the sales because I will act as a personal translator for them."
I look incredulous at Master Duan Li because this is the first time I hear this ..is this a world that has magic?
I turn and I look back at Arlen, Markus and Elian and I don't know how I should start translating what Duan Li said ..right now I look like a fish out of water ...

All three look at me lost ... I guess they think I said something wrong...

This situation is incredible...magic contract.. this world might have magic and that means it's definitely not our world.
A silent tension draped the whole room and even I don't know how to break it then I see Markus getting out of his trance...
" I guess this is definitely not our world. If our world had magic contracts there wouldnt been so many people cheated out of their money or their merchandise. Next thing Yin Xue will tell us that they fly on their swords and dragons exist."
Elian looks at me and he asks...." Do people fly on their swords here? Like in those Chinese novels?"
This image clicked in my head and left me with my mouth open...it didn't occured to me that it might be a magic world like the ones in novels,after all I gave birth .,
" I don't know....they might be?"
All three start to laugh and I think it's mostly because my expression... I never could hide my emotions...
After all the laugh, Arlen ,Elian and Markus agree with the contract and I translated to Duan Li all that the brothers asked since it's the first time they will make a contact...a magic sealed contract..
They agreed to meet tomorrow in the harbour but I need to be there to translate and with this I might resolve my lack of money . If Arlen ,Elian and Markus sell the products on the European market they might become the official distributor of luxury products... If they can come and go faster than the caravan then we can be rich ...
As the lunch finishes after I explained to the brothers ,me and Bohai we start to prepare going home . It's the first time I've been away from my son for a long time, I miss him and my breasts start to hurt since he hasn't nursed from them in the past few hours.
We bought enough meat and spices to enjoy a hot pot with A Chang and I have a nice cloth and some sweets . Today it was to eventful...I'm actually tired and I can't wait to see my sweet A Yuan.
