The morning light was barely creeping over the city when Julia pushed through the hospital doors with Elena trailing closely behind her. The long halls smelled like bleach, metal, and something heavy, something that felt like fear. People passed them in a blur ,urses, doctors, relatives but Julia barely saw any of them.
She only saw the image that had been haunting her since james called. Tyler was the one who answered the call and breaked the news to her. it was the middle of the night and it took a lot of convincing from Tyler for her to wait till the following morning. Elena was already waiting for her so they could go together. The news had been bone chilling.
