Perhaps they know whether they are suffering between life and death or between freedom and life. Maybe they haven't yet repaid their debts, but they know they can't continue any longer.

Perhaps they know for whom their life's purpose is being enacted. They know what they are doing, but they don't know why they are doing it all.
They believe what they are doing is right, so it is right? They believe what they are doing is wrong, so it is wrong? I feel that not only am I a clown, but I'm a clown being played by others, a complete and utter clown.
