"Song Yun, come out. If you come out now, I... I won't hold against you for scaring me earlier, okay?" Mo Yuyao said almost in a pleading tone.
"That's more like it." Song Yun's voice came from beside her, and Mo Yuyao quickly grabbed her flashlight to shine it over. A few meters away sat a person on a stone, and who could it be if not Song Yun?
"You jerk, you scared me again!" Mo Yuyao screamed and lunged at Song Yun with her claws out. But this was a mountain path, and the ground was full of potholes and rocks. Plus, it was late at night. Mo Yuyao was careless, tripped over a stone, lost her balance, and fell forward.
"Oh no, my face is going to get scratched!!" Staring at the rocks and dirt ahead of her, Mo Yuyao was utterly dismayed. Not only had she been scared twice, but now when she tried to get revenge, she stumbled and was about to ruin her face. Oh heavens, what could have blinded you? I'm such a kind-hearted girl; how can you let me suffer so?
