They finally decided to take a short nap on the ship before sunrise. When Charlotte stepped into the cabin, she couldn't stop the little gasp that escaped her lips.
"Oh my god, Damon! This room looks more like a hotel suite than a cabin on a ship!" she exclaimed, her voice full of excitement.
Damon only chuckled, watching with amusement as Charlotte wandered around, checking every corner of their cabin like a curious child.
The cabin truly did look like a luxury hotel room. There was a cozy living area with a couch, table, and TV, along with a separate bedroom.
When Charlotte pushed the bedroom door open, her eyes widened in awe. A wide window stretched across the wall, opening to the endless sea. Right now, it was just darkness, but she knew the moment the sun came up, it would turn into a view she'd never forget.
"Don't go out to the balcony just yet," Damon said gently before she could reach for the door. "The wind will be too strong, and you might get cold."
