Appearing before Kael was the city-sized nest.
The nest did not resemble a large structure made of wooden twigs and rotten dragon scales.
Rather, it looked like a dome that was made of one solid piece of chitinous material and hammered into the earth.
The black chitinous material had a wormy and wavy surface that would make the hair of many creatures stand on end. The way the wavy patterns cascaded and collided in a frozen dance of architectural wonder created a subtle but noticeable sensation to those who looked at it.
Dotting the surface of this black nest dome were many holes and gaps that served as entrances and windows into the nest.
Currently, many little dragonlings were swarming in and out of these large holes on the sides of the domes.
Kael just stood calmly in front of the dome, observing the beauty of it all with a casual gaze.
Finally, after waiting outside for five seconds, his left knee moved, signaling his walk to the nest.
