She already had the Primordial Fox in her possession and knew very well that she would never be able to get this Primordial Peacock from Kael's possession even if she wanted to.
But she still hesitated.
And that hesitation cost her.
The arkships that came out of the heavenly gate got very close and their attacks became more intense.
At the same time, the power boost from the Sacrifice of the Elders was beginning to fade away and Eleanor was returning to her original self.
Realizing this, Eleanor snapped out of her stupor and chose to escape first. She could already hear the voices of the elders decreasing in volume inside her mind.

Eleanor turned around and found that she was surrounded. At some point during her hesitation, some arkships had flown around to corner her.
She looked around her and saw that at least three arkships were facing her from all directions.
