"Quick, strip. Let me see your resolve," Kissinger urged, seeing no movement from Chen Ke and Sleery.
Sleery's complexion was ugly; she looked at Chen Ke, seeking instruction. Chen Ke, without a word, slowly squatted down and lightly touched the ground with his right hand.
"I thought you would be unfazed by this sort of thing. What's there to hesitate about? In the face of opportunity, shouldn't one grovel and compete for it?" Kissinger said with a smile.
He saw Chen Ke caressing the ground, not knowing what he was about to do, so he raised an eyebrow, curiously watching for a while.
"That's enough," Chen Ke turned back to Sleery.
Sleery had seen Chen Ke use this move on the plane before; time in the room had stopped. The floor, walls, and ceiling had all become indestructible dead objects, not conducting any heat, sound, or energy.
"Are we going with this approach? Not faking an accident anymore?" Sleery asked.
