Demon God Bali was weak against magic, with very high physical resistance, but with the blessing of the moonlight, along with Chen Ke's Crystal Gun and Time Domain, and with Sleery setting up a magical protection mechanism, the farming wasn't so dangerous.
And when it came to farming angels, Bali would join forces with them to attack Saraf, making the angel farming even more pleasant.
Each cycle restart ended with the deployment of a nuclear bomb. Chen Ke had calculated roughly that, including the time they spent fighting, from the restart to the bomb's fall, it was only about a ten-minute window of time, making the free time in this Great Void a bit cramped.
