The official height marked for Karl Landry at the NBA Rookie Training Camp was 2.01 meters.
As a power forward, this height is undoubtedly a bit short.
But Morey found out that Landry's actual height was 2.07 meters.
Another reason why Landry went unnoticed in the draft market was his knee injury. Upon examination, it was found that some media had exaggerated his injury, which was actually not that severe.
Eventually, Morey used a second-round pick in 2007 to select Landry.
Of course, even if these misunderstandings didn't exist, Landry's real draft position would probably be around the 20th pick in the first round.
He has quite a few issues.
