"I think it's unlikely."
Chen Meijia had her own analysis. She was already thoroughly familiar with the composition of the Kang Group's business operations and the weight of each sector within the group. Although the Kang Group did have a jade business, the jade business made up a minuscule portion of the group's operations, to the point of being negligible.
Kang Yong'an was the general manager of the group. Logically, there was no need for him to personally attend to such a small part of the business, and yet he was gone for several days.
Chen Meijia and Jiang Xiaobai were both suspicious, believing that Kang Yong'an had other motives for his trip to Myanmar, though they couldn't figure it out just yet.
"Miss Chen, I think we shouldn't alert the snake right now. We should proceed step by step, so that Kang Yong'an won't notice anything. He's very cunning, and if he becomes aware of anything, it will be difficult for us to proceed."
