"WHAT?" My voice booms, rattling the hall. The poor servant on the other side trembles, eyes wide, knuckles white around the scroll in his hand.

I don't wait for him to finish. I slam the door shut, spin back toward the room, and start dragging on clothes as fast as my shaking hands allow.
