"Bird and beast language?"
The elderly Daoist Feng Huazi saw more.
He was well-informed and experienced, even having a few friends from the Northern Border's Immortal Hall, giving him deep understanding of such languages.
This language was very ancient; myriad beings of Heaven and Earth would naturally learn it as soon as they developed spirituality and acquired Dao.
Compared to human speech, it was not superior, even chaotic.
But therein lay the trouble. This upper language was usually filled with a lot of trills and sounds mimicking nature, chaotic and disordered, with no grammatical rules.
Using this language was mainly about conveying intention.
Simply put, it was more like gestures, using various actions to express meaning; only, in this case, it's replaced with sounds.
Precisely because there was no regularity, it was tremendously difficult for humans.
