The high-ceilinged hall is spacious, with several large iron chandeliers hanging from the roof, the burning whale oil crackles, casting dim yellow light across the space, projecting mottled shadows on the stone brick walls.
In the center of the stone platform, there stands a giant wooden board three meters high and twenty meters wide, which is the core of the guild, the commission board.
The board is filled with various papers, the tasks labeled with charcoal and ink, as this is Forgotten Port, the adventurer's guild also handles some government business, posting bounty orders for the Cross Alliance on a separate section.
High-risk tasks, or major wanted criminals regardless of life or death, are marked in crimson letters.
