This deity's surname is Guo, named Zhongfu, during the Great Tang period, became a deity in the Minnan region of China and was honored as the Venerable King of Guangze.
After leaving the Guangze Venerable King's temple, Chen Shi was about to head to the next temple when the sound of fireworks reached him. Chen Shi looked in the direction of the sound and saw a small town where the surviving people were setting off fireworks.
"Black Pot, what day is it today?" Chen Shi inquired.

Chen Shi spurred the wooden cart and arrived at the small town. The townspeople were setting off firecrackers, making dumplings, pasting Spring Festival couplets, and some were performing lion and dragon dances. It was very lively and festive.
On the streets and alleyways, there were also cultivators patrolling, guarding against attacks from evil spirits and ghost monsters.
