Displaying strength might make the vast majority understand and quiet down.
This is what is known as deterrence.
But there's a limit to this.
The displayed strength has to be sufficiently powerful and exaggerated to achieve a deterrent effect; otherwise, it would be tantamount to a clown's self-destructing truck.
For if it's too weak,
most people might not even perceive it at all.
Or to say, even if they did perceive it, they would only sense a tiny bit of it.
It would hardly deter anything at all.
This kind of demonstration must also be simple and clear—the purest form of explosion and destruction is the best choice, lest others might not understand.
Under such circumstances,
the explosion of Europa would certainly be spectacular and eye-catching enough.
Spectacular needs no further mention.
In the history of human scientific cognition, such a large celestial body has never been witnessed exploding within the Solar System.
