"Go to the orphanage in the Lower City District."
"Remember, we need the cleanest supply."
...
In the night, a torrential rain fell over Roland City, seemingly the tears of Saint Sis, while the windows and doors on the streets were tightly shut, like lambs closing their eyes.
Dozens of black carriages broke through the rainstorm, storming the doors of several orphanages in the Lower City with an unstoppable offensive.
Black-robed Tomb Guardians rudely kicked open the doors, and an elderly nun tried to block them with her arms outstretched, only to be kicked down into the mud.
She seemed to realize something as she shouted towards those behind her.
"Run—children!"
A sword pierced her chest, and blood mingled with rainwater flowed into the mud pit, dyeing the ancient and sacred steps a shocking crimson.
Her death was meaningless.
In front of the Tomb Guardians, even they couldn't escape, let alone a group of unarmed children.
