The wealthy district of Thunder City, located in the central area with its sprawling estates, was graced by an eagle-knight statue. Like a watchful hound, it gazed sharply over the opulent main street, its razor-like talons guarding the intricately carved marble gate adorned with exquisite relief patterns.
Almost no passersby could be seen in front of that stunning gate; only the occasional carriage would trundle by.
Yet, on this street, which needed the least amount of illumination, stood the densest assembly of streetlights in all of Thunder City. Almost every ten to twenty steps, another lamp post rose, and even the pitch-black iron columns were engraved with ornate and elegant designs.
Thanks to its idyllic setting, strong public safety, and cultured atmosphere, this district boasted the highest property prices in all of Thunder City.
Those residing here were either incredibly wealthy or immensely powerful.
