"Lord Frieza, Planet Vegeta is just ahead."
Shortly after Zuke entered the Dragon Ball world, inside Frieza's spaceship, Zarbon reported to his master.
Unlike Dodoria, whose grotesque appearance was unmistakable, Zarbon looked like a relatively normal humanoid by cosmic standards.
Of course, Zarbon was a shapeshifting species—but since his transformed state ruined his handsome face, he rarely willingly assumed that hideous, power-boosting form.
"Excellent. Have any Saiyans fled Planet Vegeta recently?"
Frieza's expression was dark. Even after three days, the thought of the Saiyans daring to betray him still made his blood boil.
All he could think about was reaching Planet Vegeta as soon as possible and exterminating those damned monkeys—fulfilling Beerus's order in the process.
Having completely severed ties with the Saiyans, Frieza didn't even know that Planet Vegeta had been renamed "Planet Saiya" at Zuke's command.
In the original timeline, Frieza had waited for Prince Vegeta—a Saiyan he saw potential in—to be off-world before destroying their race.
But now, enraged by their betrayal, he no longer cared about "promising seedlings." Every last Saiyan would die.
"We've questioned nearby planets—no Saiyans have left their homeworld."
Zarbon had already investigated this thoroughly.
Saiyans couldn't survive in space without ships. Since no vessels had departed, it meant none had escaped.
In fact, a few spherical pods had even returned to Saiyan Planet—Saiyans who'd received Bardock's summons but couldn't arrive immediately.
Upon learning their king had been replaced by Zuke—a warrior with 30 million battle power—they'd all joined the rebellion without exception.
This puzzled Frieza's forces. They'd made no effort to hide their approach. The Saiyans had to know Frieza was coming.
Given their strength, shouldn't they be fleeing for their lives? Why were they still gathered on their planet, showing no signs of panic?
"Shall we destroy Planet Vegeta from orbit?"
Seeing Frieza's deepening scowl, Zarbon cautiously suggested.
With Frieza's power, he could easily obliterate the planet from afar, leaving the Saiyans to suffocate in space.
"No. We land."
Frieza's lips curled into a predatory grin.
Destroy the planet remotely? Where's the fun in that? He hadn't brought this army just to watch fireworks.
He'd slaughter the Saiyans one by one, leaving a handful in despair before annihilating their world.
Let the universe learn the price of betraying Frieza.

One hour later, Frieza's massive warship pierced the atmosphere, its shadow engulfing Saiyan Planet.
As it descended, onboard sensors detected all Saiyan battle powers clustered in one location.
The readings made Frieza's men laugh in contempt.
"Hardly any over 10,000… Do these monkeys really think they can resist us?"
Zarbon sneered at the data. This matched his expectations—most Saiyans hovered around a few thousand, with only rare elites breaking five digits.
While their average strength was impressive galaxy-wide, their top-tier fighters paled next to Frieza's handpicked elites.
(Don't underestimate Frieza's forces—even Beerus had considered recruiting them for the Tournament of Power in Dragon Ball Super.)
Amid the mocking, Frieza remained silent.
Something felt wrong.
These Saiyans were gathered defiantly, their power levels confirmed by scouters—yet barely any surpassed 10,000.
How could they possibly challenge him?
Suppressing his unease, Frieza gave the order:
"Move out. Wipe them out—even if the planet cracks, it doesn't matter."
Normally, Frieza avoided planetary destruction (for resale value). But today, Planet Saiya would burn with its people.
---
As the warship loomed over the Saiyan city, its bay doors opened—hordes of Frieza's soldiers surged out, grinning savagely.
Below, Saiyans stood on streets, rooftops, even mid-air, all staring up at their doom.
Then—alarms blared on several scouters.
Some soldiers froze, turning toward the horizon… where a dense ball of energy floated innocuously.
"That's…!"
Before they could react, a lone Saiyan hovering above the city smirked—and clenched his fist.
"Fuse energy blasts with oxygen…"
"And create an artificial moon!"
No natural moon shone in daylight?
Then the Saiyans would make their own.
