Hours of traveling later….
Ansel looked ahead of him, seeing the castle in the distance.
'Finally, after this whole ordeal, we're almost home at the castle… This day… It's one of the happiest days I've had in a long time… Gabrielle… I hope you can finally relax in a comfortable setting," He thought.
He looked down at her, smiling softly, "Gabrielle," He whispered in her ear.
"Hmm," She groggily hummed, rubbing her chest against his chest.
"Gabrielle, look," He whispered, kissing the top of her head.
She opened her eyes, looking ahead of her. She saw Ansel's castle in the distance, the morning sun casting an orangish hue around it.
A soft smile grew on her face as she looked back at Ansel.
"We're home," She breathed.
"We are home," He smiled.
"We're home," She whooped as Ansel made the horse move fast, "We're home, we're finally home!"
