The next day…
In the infirmary Gabrielle laid, Ansel sitting at her bedside.
Gabrielle quickly sat up, her eyes popping open as she breathed heavily.
"Ansel," She called out.
Ansel grabbed her hand, interlocking his fingers with her.
"I'm here," He hummed, kissing the back of her hand.
She looked over at him, sighing, allowing herself to relax, she laid back down, turning to face him.
He ran his fingers through her hair, his eyes warming and calm.
"I'm here," He hummed once more, "I'm here and I'm not going anywhere."
Knock, knock
"Can I come in," A servant woman called out.
"Come in," Ansel responded, keeping his eyes on Gabrielle.
The servant woman entered the room, bowing to Ansel and Gabrielle.
"Your Majesty, Sir Harrison is looking for you," She informed, "He said he needed to go over some plans with you."
