"Why is it you," Gabrielle whispered, looking around her, "Where am I?
"I-I know this all must be so confusing waking up in such an unfamiliar place, I can e-explain everything to you, once you're up for it," He stated, trying to comfort her.
"Where's Ansel," She breathed, feeling weak.
"Y-You've been passed out for over a day so I bet y-you're probably hungry, I can get you some food right now if you what. Whatever you may like, I'm sure I can find it for you," Lexster deflected, avoiding her questions.
"Hungry," She repeated teary-eyed, "Hungry…"
She leaned on her hands, trying to get up, gritting her teeth through the pain.
"N-No, d-don't get up I'll come t-to you," Lexster stammered, rushing to her bedside.
He placed his hands on her shoulders, preventing her from getting up.
"I-If you try to get up your stitches could burst so i-it's better if you sit down and relax for t-the t-time being," He advised, meeting her eyes.
