Outside Kenton's cell Hattie stood, continuing to listen in on his and Ansel's conversation, unnoticed.
"Kenton you've emboldened yourself up to far, you have made yourself to be grander than you are. You hold no weight, especially not in Florian. Now I do owe you thanks, you had a hand in protecting Milady from Stentin so consider me sparing your life as a token of my gratitude. As for now, I want you out of my Kingdom, take nothing with you and leave. If I catch you back here, you won't have to worry about anything ever again because you won't have a life to worry about," Ansel stated coldly.
"And what of my apprentice, am I expected to leave without him," Kenton snarled, gritting his teeth.
"Well you wanted him in Florian so badly, I would think him staying wouldn't be a problem," Ansel smirked, watching Kenton's expression twisted.
"Lester is my apprentice! He belongs to me, you can't take him, he's my property," Kenton fumed.
