"Uhmm... did you sleep well, Kolya?" Rodion asked about initiating a topic.
Prince Nikolai nodded his head, his cheek puffed with his mouth full of food. The meal that Rodion had brought for him was delicious. He couldn't believe the food he would usually prepare for himself couldn't even be compared to the food he was currently eating.
Although he would sometimes receive prepared meals from Rodion's family, he was quick to forget how they tasted and had grown used to his own cooking.
He consumed his meal with focus, paying a little attention to his visitor and not even glancing in his direction.
Rodya on the other hand, watched the prince enjoy the food he had chosen for him, pleased to see his delight. He remained silent, intently observing every move the prince made.
