In the northwestern part of Shu Province, near the border of Hou Qian, a towering peak stands on the barren earth.
The peak was devoid of any sign of greenery, shrouded in a desolate blackness and chilling murderous intent. Like a broken sword, the mountain emitted a tragic and cold aura.
This was Buried Sword Peak, the last retreat of the Elders of Sword God Lake. Though known as one of the three major Sword Dao holy lands in the worldly society, Buried Sword Peak only housed the aged Elders and countless broken swords.
Zhong Qingling, with the Execution Sword piercing his chest, staggered as he flew to the top of the mountain, as if finally relieved, half-kneeling on the ground.
A gust of wind swept past his front, and an elderly man, as upright as an ancient pine, appeared before Zhong Qingling, quickly supporting him, and said, "Master Zhong, how did you suffer such a severe injury?"
