It is not uncommon for sects to pass down teachings from father to son, grandson, but a sect where all disciples share the same surname and bloodline is probably only found in Dragon Tiger Mountain.
Although there are countless Taoist temples and innumerable outsiders under the sect, within the Dragon Tiger Mountain itself, it is entirely composed of the Zhang Family.
Naturally, within any family, there are the main and side branches, direct descendants, and collateral lines.
Those from the main branch naturally receive the best treatment. The best Martial Arts, the richest resources, and the most opportunities.
People from the side branches also have chances to make a name for themselves. Any family that suppresses its side branches to prevent them from rising will inevitably face decline in the end.
