The enemy was retreating step by step, and the agent hurriedly said beside Zheng Zhong: "Boss, their firepower is too fierce, we can't hold on much longer."
"We'll hold on 'til death if we have to!" Zheng Zhong barely finished speaking when he heard a "pfft" by his ear. Glancing confidently, he saw a bloody hole in the agent's forehead. The poor guy had been shot through the back of the head.
The agent fell down, shocking Zheng Zhong to his core. He felt something sticky on his face and wiped it with his hand, realizing it was blood.
The blood had splattered over from the agent's head.
Zheng Zhong quickly retreated to a sedan, opened the door, and hurriedly got inside.
"Boss, what should we do now? Should we call for reinforcements?" the driver asked.
"Let's retreat first," he replied.
As he spoke, a few bullets struck the sedan's body, and Zheng Zhong crouched down further, keeping his head lower than the bottom of the window, terrified that raising it might get him shot.
