Startled by Dr. Yun, Lu Xiaoman thought Ye Fan was really on the verge of death. She was touched that Ye Fan still remembered to come back and see her in his "dying" moments, and she was so concerned about this man that she wanted to die with him.

With just a simple gesture, he could stop the ambulance, but he didn't want to do it, partly because he might frighten Lu Xiaoman, and also because he really liked the feeling of being held by her.
