At the same time, Bai Meiyue woke up in her mansion. She closed her eyes and tried to focus her attention on the explosions that were getting closer with each passing second and sighed. Usually, she didn't feel cold upon waking up because Lei Qian was by her side but today, the man was missing and no one knew where he was or whether he had killed Yu Miaomiao or not. Given the explosions, Bai Meiyue knew that the chances were rather slim.
Sighing, Bai Meiyue shut the air conditioner down and then walked to the bathing room, where she took a quick bath and headed out of the room. Once she stepped out, she saw Lei Qian sitting in the living room, nursing a bullet wound on his shoulder.
