So he might as well let the bodyguards stay.
Seeing the old master of the Bai family enter, the bodyguards all lowered their heads at once. They didn't want to stay in the room, but at the same time, they dared not leave without the command from Old Master Bai, something that he didn't give them. Staring at Fu Wan, Old Master Bai said to her, "Do you think that this is your own home where you can act as you please? Miss Bai is right. She is giving you a place to stay, and thats out of the goodness of her heart. If you go outside, no one would give you a plain packet of bread, much less a place to stay."
