The entire night passed by without much change. It was a dreamless night, and with Lei Qian by her side, Bai Meiyue's sleep was even more peaceful. She only woke up when sunlight started to pour out of the windows through the curtains. When Bai Meiyue sat up straight on the bed, she realised that Lei Qian had already woken up and left the room after cooking breakfast for her.
He had left a note for her saying where he was going and that she should eat breakfast before going somewhere.
Bai Meiyue pushed back the quilt and was about to get up from the bed when something sharp struck her tailbone. It was a pain similar to getting pricked by a needle and Bai Meiyue had to suck in a bunch of deep breaths to calm herself down. She was about four months pregnant and was soon moving into her fifth. It was time for her tailbone to start hurting.
