On the eve before departure,
Lian entered the system space and promptly accessed the Dream World. Currently, there wasn't much he could improve upon, as he just needed to wait for evolution.
Thus, maximizing his time in the Dream World to level up was optimal, while also keeping an eye out for the Zapdos youngling - perhaps he might find it.
In the Dream World,
Lian sprinted relentlessly, assuming that Zapdos had likely stayed within this realm. By searching systematically, he stood a chance of locating it.
Upon reaching the previous area, Lian didn't immediately spot Zapdos. However, considering its low level, even being a Legendary Pokemon, it probably wouldn't have ventured too far away, as it still hadn't fully matured.
As Lian searched for battles with other Pokemon, he simultaneously looked for Zapdos, traversing lush green fields and crossing turbulent rivers.
Before long, Lian indeed found traces of Zapdos, engaged in combat against a group of Water-type Pokémon.
Clearly, Zapdos aimed to become stronger and understood that Electric-types have an advantage over Water-types. Therefore, it positioned itself near the river, specifically seeking out battles with Water-type Pokémon.
Zapdos inherently possesses impressive base stats, with its Special Attack being particularly outstanding. With a single Thunder Shock, a vast area of the river becomes electrified, causing significant harm to Water-type Pokémon like Poliwags and Magikarps.
"Great strategy, too bad I'm not an Electric-type Pokémon," Lian lamented slightly. If he were Electric-type, visiting areas abundant with Water-types and unleashing an Electric move could potentially defeat multiple Pokémon at once.
As Zapdos discharged another Thunder Shock, arcs of electricity danced across the river. It's undeniable that Legendary Pokemon naturally possess immense power. Executing two consecutive Thunder Shocks appeared effortless for Zapdos, clearly indicating it had grown stronger from continuous battling here over the past few days.
Noticing Lian, Zapdos paused its battle and flew towards him, surprisingly having learned to speak: "Yesterday, you vanished so suddenly; I couldn't find you anywhere."
Indeed, as expected of a Legendary Pokemon, it showed remarkable growth even after just one day apart.
Lian responded, "I can only be here during this time each day; otherwise, I am in the real world."
"Reality? Isn't this the real world?" Zapdos questioned, clearly puzzled. It had always believed this to be the actual world, aside from the perpetually gray sky, which seemed somewhat surreal.
"This is the Dream World," Lian explained. Despite being weaker than Pseudo-Legendary Pokemon even in-game, Zapdos was indeed a Legendary Pokemon, and in the real world, all Legendaries possess immense power.
Although still young and relatively weak, Zapdos's growth rate was impressive, ensuring its future as a formidable Pokemon.
Understanding the situation, Zapdos appeared slightly disheartened, realizing it couldn't leave here or search for its mother.
"Don't worry, you can grow strong here just the same. I'll find a way for you to leave eventually, but it might take some time," Lian reassured it.
Normally, entering the Dream World requires a Lunar Feather, which comes from Cresselia, another elusive Legendary Pokemon whose whereabouts are typically unknown.
However, even without finding Cresselia directly, obtaining a Lunar Feather would suffice. Lian had previously seen the long-haired man with several Lunar Feathers, suggesting they might not be extremely rare and could likely be found scattered elsewhere.
As long as he could locate one, there wouldn't be any issue.
Lian shared his plan with Zapdos.
"The key right now is to understand the scope of the Dream World and determine our exact location," Lian explained. "That way, once I enter the Dream World, I can precisely find you and bring you out."
"Oh, got it." Zapdos nodded in understanding.
"Let's become stronger quickly. I can only stay here for a limited time before leaving soon. Let's fight together," Lian said.
With Zapdos' assistance, tackling more formidable Pokemon became significantly easier.
Together, Lian and Zapdos embarked on challenging higher-level Pokemon.

Standing on the street, Lian breathed deeply and exhaled a series of small flames towards the sky, skillfully manipulating them to change shapes.
Currently, his Fire-type Energy Control Rating had reached 50%, showcasing a remarkable level of mastery. He could now sense the surrounding free-flowing fire energy effortlessly.
As if performing magic, the emitted flames transformed into various forms—spinning, tumbling, splitting, exploding, compressing—all under Lian's precise control at will.
Naturally, this versatility was limited to small flames; controlling larger amounts of fire energy significantly increased the difficulty.
"Charmander, let's go."
Kalia returned after bidding farewell to Lewis, carrying Torchic nestled comfortably in her arms. The little Pokemon seemed asleep, curled up against Kalia's chest.
Lian voluntarily entered his Poké Ball, preferring not to walk. It felt much better to sleep inside and wake up already at their destination.
With that, Kalia set off on her journey.
The next city was Rockcliff City, home to the Fighting-type gym, located in the northwest region of Sebas. This area bordered the Kana Mountains, resulting in numerous peaks nearby.
From Rhine City, reaching Rockcliff City required traversing several mountain ranges on foot. However, Kalia planned to train first, sensing that it wouldn't be long before Charmeleon would evolve.
Once Charmeleon evolves, Kalia can directly ride her Charizard to Rockcliff City, bypassing the arduous trek through mountains.
As Kalia embarked on her journey towards Rockcliff City, unbeknownst to her, a group of Dark Guild members lay in ambush along the route.
Babu, an elite member of the Dark Guild, led over a dozen accomplices, hidden and awaiting Kalia's arrival.
"Once the little girl emerges, rush forward and seize that backpack, understood?" Babu meticulously planned their move, confident that the bracelet was inside the backpack. Once they snatch it, giving her a lesson would be straightforward.
"Do we need to capture the Pokemon too?" one member asked, as the Dark Guild primarily thrived by selling Pokemon.
"Yes, capture the Pokemon as well. That Charmeleon is quite formidable; we must get our hands on it," Babu nodded. The previous encounter with the Charmeleon seemed peculiar - appearing weak but actually quite strong. If captured, it could provide valuable insights for research.
Typically, the Dark Guild dealt in young, high-potential Pokemon. Mature Pokemon, having developed a certain level of intelligence, posed significant challenges even if captured, as getting other Trainers to successfully tame them was difficult. These Pokemon remained fiercely loyal to their original owners, refusing to submit to others despite being free from Poké Balls' constraints.
Unless the original owner explicitly abandoned them.
