"Why do you have a scowl on your face?" Danté raised my chin, his gaze lingering on my face.
"I don't have a scowl on my face" I shook my head. I wanted to tell him the truth but knowing Romano and his position in this world, Romano's word has more weight and nobody can convince the fucker.
"Is it about Romano?" Releasing my chin from his light grip, he sits opposite me. I didn't even know how he found me on the balcony.
"How did you find me?" I asked. Am I really always noticeable? It's like everybody has their eyes on me anyway. The guards, The men, The cleaners, The chefs, everybody.
"You're not that small, you know. Besides, the curtain is transparent so you definitely can see when someone is on the balcony" Danté said
"Why are you here? Why are you always coming here when it doesn't look like the Don wants or likes your presence?" I know he's like the second in command but Romano barely acknowledges that and I wonder why Danté still stresses himself with him.
