William waited anxiously in front of the principal's office door. He didn't mind waiting a few minutes.
As soon as the door opened and he entered the office, the first thing he did was nod respectfully.
"Welcome," said the principal. "Are you the new teacher?"
"Yes, that's me," said William.
The principal stared at him for a few moments. At that moment, he felt a little cornered, afraid that his disguise had been discovered.
However, in the end, the principal just said, surprised, "You showed up earlier than I expected."
The guards at the Magic Academy had said the same thing. Everyone was surprised to see William show up so early.
Of course, he was there in disguise. He was using the ID of another William, but he wasn't the real teacher.
The real teacher had been kidnapped and most likely killed by the necromancer cult.
William felt sad thinking about it; after all, someone had lost their life so he could enter the academy as a spy.
