Fang flipped through his report, emphasizing the careful organization of the patrols as they prepared to plan their move.
It's important to note that the patrol personnel work continuously, even having their meals on site to maintain vigilance. Those assigned to the outer patrols are equipped with tactical vests and use a combination of spells, warning charms, detection spells for human presence, and regular patrolling, to keep watch.
Additionally, the breeding bases have set up powerful magical barriers around the perimeter. These shields are so strong that breaking through them with ordinary means would be impossible, at least for a while. Even if someone tried to force their way in violently, the people inside would immediately be alerted.
After hearing Fang's report, everyone listening felt a chill of fear. Charging straight into such a tight defense would be incredibly risky.
Seeing their reaction, Andre pointed out that since Alex seemed to know the defenses so well, he must have prepared thoroughly. Alex confirmed this with a slight nod, explaining that he had already arranged equipment to hide their devices. However, for this place, their plan was to break in from the inside.
Andre was surprised and asked if Alex had found a way to get inside without alerting the guards. Alex explained that they had managed to send a subordinate undercover as soon as they discovered the place.
Thanks to her, they had gathered detailed information about the place's inner layout. He also found a secret passage that led directly from the outside to the inside, which was crucial for their plan.
At this point, Alex mentioned Shalltear, who had played a vital role in the operation against the breeding place. Everyone, including Andre, suddenly understood how Alex knew so much and had such a clear picture of the place's internal structure.
Because of this intel, Alex was able to successfully crack the magical shield protecting the place. Still, to be safe, they planned to break through from inside.
Finally, Alex took charge of the operation, accepting Fang's offer to lead. The plan was to enter the core hub at the center of the place around 9:00 PM. After confirming through my internal communication that all the lights in the residential area were turned off, we got down to work.
"First on the agenda are the 10 internal patrol officers," Alex began, "followed by securing the staff quarters, including Claremont and the others."
He glanced around at everyone present. "There are 46 of us here now, including Fang and me. Among us, Fang, Hagrid, and Professor Kettleburn have obvious roles and won't be taking part in arrests."
He continued, "That leaves 43 people, and I plan to split you into 22 pairs. When we launch the operation, we'll send out seven highly mobile teams first.
They'll use Disillusionment Charms to move stealthily, quickly take down the five patrol teams and the five night-shift medical wizards, then regroup in the residential area to simultaneously strike the five staff dormitories."
After hearing this plan, Andre raised a concern. "I don't have any problem with targeting the patrol teams outside first, but isn't it risky to attack all the residential areas at once instead of handling them one by one?
There are over 200 people living in 22 dormitories, that means around 8 to 10 people per dormitory. Even if they're asleep, is it really wise to have just two wizards face that alone?"
Others nearby nodded in agreement. Though confident in their abilities, they hesitated to be too harsh on ordinary wizards. If things went wrong, it could be difficult to manage the fallout.
Alex smiled. "I appreciate your concern, but I've actually planned for this." Standing up, he walked toward the side of the meeting room, explaining as he moved, "When I say two wizards per dormitory, I'm not suggesting a reckless, forceful attack. Instead, I've developed specific tactics.
This includes silently breaking down doors, standardized movement patterns, quick maneuvers, and emergency protocols. I've also prepared the necessary equipment for everyone. These tactics are straightforward, simple enough that everyone can master them with a bit of practice."
The room fell silent for a moment before someone muttered, "Oh?" in surprise.
Everyone around could understand each word Alex said, but when he put it all together, they just couldn't grasp the meaning.
"What you said... we don't know any tactical moves, and what kind of equipment are you talking about?" Andre asked, clearly baffled like the rest of them.
Alex smiled reassuringly. "Don't worry, I've prepared everything for you. What I mean is this!" With that, he waved his hand, and one wall of the conference room began to shift and expand to both sides.
Before their eyes, a small three-story building appeared in the open space nearby. The more observant Aurors recognized it immediately, it was an exact replica of the wizard's dormitory they had seen on the sand table. "This... could it be?" Andre asked in disbelief, looking at Alex.
"Yes," Alex nodded with a grin. "This small building is a one-to-one scale model of the wizard's dormitory, right down to the internal layout." He then stepped forward and gestured to the group. "Please, gather in front of the building. I'll explain everything in detail."
Everyone exchanged glances, then stood up and followed him, forming a half-circle in front of the door. Once they were all assembled, Alex addressed them loudly, "We found that the dormitory system in the place is very uniform. Each dorm has eight rooms total, four on the second floor and four on the third."
He paused, then continued, "For breaking in, I've prepared enough Silent Talismans for everyone. Once activated, these let you break in without alerting anyone. This is our first tactical move: Silent Breaking."
lex pulled out a metal amulet, activated it, and stuck it to the door. Then, with a flick of his wand, he cast an unlocking spell. Not a sound came from the door during the entire process. "While one person handles breaking the door, another is assigned to security," he added, setting the stage for the operation ahead.
Once the door was broken down, the threat had to be dealt with immediately, following the usual protocol for such operations. After all, there was no way to know if anyone inside might still be acting unpredictably once the lights went out.
This was the second rule: a tactical move called the "standardized movement line." Basically, if you spotted someone within your line of sight, you had to quickly cast a stunning spell to neutralize them.
But there was an important detail to keep in mind, every time an attack was made, a Silent Talisman had to be activated to make sure no one else nearby would be alerted.
