Chapter 247 - CA [247]: The Lost Princess Joins

Fianna Ray Ordesia, the empire's second princess, was every inch a regal noble.

Four years ago, as a young girl, Fianna was chosen as the Elemental Princess of the Fire Spirit King. However, Rubia Elstein, the former Fire Elemental Princess, emerged with overwhelming power, seizing the Godslayer Flame and defeating Fianna effortlessly. The loss left Fianna so shaken that she could no longer summon her contracted spirit.

Her spirit, a high-level holy attribute, was exceptional, but her self-doubt severed their connection. No matter how she called, her spirit wouldn't respond. Deep down, her lack of confidence stemmed from a belief that even if she summoned her spirit, she couldn't win. Thus, she never truly intended to call it forth.

As a result, unable to summon her spirit, she was cast aside by the royal family, becoming known as the Lost Elemental Princess.

Three years ago, while attending the Blade Dance alone, Fianna encountered danger in a forest. Kamito Kazehaya, passing by, saved her. Recognizing his sword, she discovered he was Ren Ashbell. They agreed to meet again after the tournament, but Kamito vanished post-event, leaving her waiting for three years.

Now, hearing that Ren Ashbell had appeared at Areishia Spirit Academy and was recruiting teammates, Fianna rushed from the capital to confirm if this was the Ren Ashbell she knew.

Upon arriving, she saw Kamito in feminine attire. His appearance was strikingly similar to the Ren Ashbell from three years ago, just a taller version.

Fianna was stunned.

Three years ago was one thing, but today, he was still cross-dressing among girls! And with two adorable girls by his side, no less!

This guy was deceiving people again! She couldn't let him continue.

Using her authority as a princess, Fianna summoned Kamito for a private meeting.

Studying him closely, she confirmed he was indeed the Ren Ashbell from three years ago. After verifying his identity, she threatened to reveal his true gender to the girls around him unless he teamed up with her.

Kamito, puzzled why the imperial princess sought him out, was caught off guard by her threat. He asked how she knew he was male, as only the academy's headmistress and his teammates were aware.

Fianna revealed her identity and their past encounter, explaining how she knew his secret. Kamito, however, refused her demand.

This surprised Fianna. Wasn't he afraid she'd expose him?

Kamito brought her to meet his teammates, and she understood why he was unfazed.

Well, damn. Everyone on the team already knew Kamito was male. No wonder he wasn't worried.

But then, why were those two girls still clinging to his arms, knowing he was a man?

Determined, Fianna applied to join the team, entering the fray to compete for Kamito's attention.

Fianna's spirit was a high-level holy attribute, ideal as a tank, so Rinslet, after consulting Altair, approved her application without hesitation.

As for Fianna's self-doubt, that was Kamito's problem to solve. It was his old debt, after all, he could deal with it.

On a side note, among Kamito's companions, Fianna had the most striking figure. Unfortunately, her impressive curves were, well, fake. Yes, despite their perfect appearance, they weren't real!

With that, Rinslet's team was complete, meeting the required five elementalists. Altair, alongside his contracted spirit Est, participated as a spirit within the team.

After submitting the roster, Headmistress Greyworth sighed in her office, hoping the students would stay out of trouble, then announced the start of the academy's ranking battles.

As Greyworth expected, with Kamito's restored strength and Rinslet, enhanced by Altair's system, the team was unstoppable. Even if Altair didn't fight, a quick kiss to recharge Rinslet's magic before each match was enough.

Rinslet and Kamito obliterated their opponents. Rinslet served as the team's ultimate backline artillery, her safety assured, while Kamito was the sharpest blade. Claire and Ellis charged alongside him.

Three frontline attackers rushing in? Good luck surviving that. The enemy's damage dealers didn't stand a chance.

In the academy's ranking battles, Rinslet's team went undefeated, winning every match. However, another team, led by Velsaria, also remained unbeaten.

Altair wasn't familiar with Velsaria, as she wasn't a main heroine, but he vaguely recalled her. She was Kamito's final opponent in the last Blade Dance, defeated without him even glancing her way. Driven by a desire to surpass him, she had implanted a cursed armament seal in her heart to amplify her power.

But no matter how much she pushed herself, she couldn't match Kamito at his peak or Rinslet with her enhancements. Velsaria barely had time to show off before being crushed.

Thus, Rinslet's team claimed first place, becoming the academy's representative to compete in the Blade Dance on behalf of the empire.

Altair, as Rinslet's contracted spirit, joined the Blade Dance as well.

On the way to the tournament venue, everyone was in high spirits, discussing their wishes.

Claire expressed her desire to reunite with her parents and meet her sister to uncover the truth about past events.

Ellis wished to become stronger, while Rinslet aimed to save her sister.

Kamito wanted to fulfill Restia's wish.

Fianna declared that being by Kamito's side had already fulfilled her wish.

With everyone sharing their desires, all eyes turned to Altair.

Rinslet, the closest to him as his elementalist, couldn't resist asking.

"Lord Altair, is there something you want to achieve?"

Did Altair have a wish? The question seemed pointless. He claimed even the Spirit Kings couldn't defeat him. What wish would he need them to grant?

"Well, there is one thing." Altair said, smiling at the curious Rinslet.

"I want to become the Spirit King."
